In August, the Board and the Foundation’s expert members undertook a study trip to North Karelia. Over the course of two days, we had the opportunity to visit a number of topical sites, such as the Pampalo gold mine, Mondo Minerals’ talc plant, Mintec’s Smarttest test site and Finncobalt’s mining project in Outokumpu.
Applications for 2027 projects can be submitted until the end of November. The total amount available will be more than €1 million.
The Foundation's Board has decided to award grants totaling €1,291,540 to 59 projects. The funded projects can be found here.
