In August, the Board and the Foundation’s expert members undertook a study trip to North Karelia. Over the course of two days, we had the opportunity to visit a number of topical sites, such as the Pampalo gold mine, Mondo Minerals’ talc plant, Mintec’s Smarttest test site and Finncobalt’s mining project in Outokumpu.
The Foundation's Board has decided to award grants totaling €1,291,540 to 59 projects. The funded projects can be found here.
We received a total of 122 applications, and we would like to extend our warmest thanks to all applicants. Processing of funding proposals has begun, and the decision on the grants to be awarded will be made and announced on March 6, 2026.
